For 2018, the all-new Jeep Compass lineup consists of four models: Sport (4x2 and 4x4), Latitude (4x2 and 4x4), Limited (4x2 and 4x4), Trailhawk (4x4). With four models and numbers of standard and optional features and accessories it's possible to create the Jeep Compass that's the exact match for all your needs and life style.

2018 Jeep Compass Sport
The Sport is available in either a 4x2 (front-wheel drive) or 4x4 drivetrain configuration. Like the Latitude and Limited, the Sport features the automatic rear axle disconnect system which disengages the rear axle when not needed in normal driving situations to reduce fuel consumption. The standard engine is the award-winning four-cylinder 2.4 L Tigershark engine matched to a six-speed manual gearbox in both 4x2 and 4x4 configurations. Available on the Sport is a six-speed automatic on 4x2 versions, when properly equipped, or a nine-speed automatic on the 4x4 version. Standard features include single zone air conditioning, cruise control, power front windows, a 3.5" driver information display, Uconnect 3 with five-inch touchscreen display that includes integrated Voice Command with Bluetooth for streaming audio and AM/FM radio with six speakers and steering wheel-mounted audio controls, 4X4 models feature a dash-mounted dial where the driver can select from one of four traction modes: Auto, Snow, Sand, or Mud.
2018 Jeep Compass Latitude
Also available in 4x2 and 4x4 configurations, the six-speed manual transmission is available only in the Latitude 4x4, with the option of a nine-speed automatic. The 4x2 version is fitted only with the six-speed automatic. Standard on the Latitude is a seven-inch full-color TFT LCD cluster Driver Information Display and Uconnect 4 with 8.4-inch display - an integrated center stack radio that includes an 8.4-inchtouchscreen display, integrated voice command with Bluetooth for streaming audio, Apple CarPlay and Google Android Auto capable. Optional on the Latitude as well as the Limited and Trailhawk is a power liftgate as well as a power, dual pane sunroof with front tilt/fore/aft and rear fixed glass, and a Beats premium audio system with nine speakers, including subwoofer. There are several equipment groups that add features including the Popular Equipment Group, Navigation Group, and Safety and Security Group, only available on Latitude, Limited and Trailhawk. Other standard upgrades over the Sport include 17-inch tires on aluminum allow wheels, and remote proximity keyless with immobilizer.
2018 Jeep Compass Limited
If you're looking for a compact SUV with outstanding on- road and off-road performance with all the comfort, safety, and technology features you desire, then the Limited will most likely fit the bill. Available in both 4x2 and 4x4 configurations with the six-speed automatic available only on the 4x2 model and the nine-speed automatic limited to the 4x4 model. Upgrade standard equipment over the Latitude include 18-inch tires with aluminum alloy wheels with polished face and Tech Grey painted pockets. With the most luxurious interior, seating consists of premium luxury leather trim with Axis II leather perforated insert bucket seats in Black with Cattle Tan accent stitching or Black/Ski Grey with Ruby Red accent stitching and embossed Jeep logo. A high technology lighting option is available as well. The bixenon high intensity discharge (HID) headlamps with LED Signature lamp is available only in the Limited when packaged with Advanced Safety and Lighting Group.
Trail Rated 2018 Jeep Compass Trailhawk
For those who seek adventure off the beaten path, the Compass Trailhawk model delivers best-in-class Trail Rated 4x4 capability with standard Jeep Active Drive, a low 4x4 20:1 crawl ratio, Hill-descent control, Selec-Terrain with Rock mode exclusive to the Trailhawk. Wheels are 17-inch aluminum alloy fitted with All-Terrain tires. Increased ride height of about 25 mm, skid plates, and Jeep signature red front and rear tow hooks. The Trailhawk-specific fascias provide for a 30-degree approach angle (almost twice a Limited or Latitude 4x4), 24-degree breakover angle, and a 34-degree departure angle. And of course, the coveted Jeep Trail Rated badge.
