The 2027 Ram 1500 Is Coming — And Ram Isn’t Holding Back
If you thought Ram was finished shaking up the truck market, the 2027 Ram 1500 lineup says otherwise.
The big story is choice. Ram continues to offer its 3.6L Pentastar V6, the returning 5.7L HEMI V8, and two versions of the 3.0L Hurricane twin-turbo inline-six. At the top of the regular Ram 1500 range, the High-Output Hurricane produces up to 540 horsepower and 521 lb-ft of torque, while properly equipped models can tow up to 11,530 pounds.
But 2027 gets considerably crazier.
The Ram 1500 SRT TRX is officially back, and Ram has turned the dial well past reasonable. Its supercharged 6.2L HEMI V8 produces 777 horsepower and 680 lb-ft of torque, making this one of the most outrageous production pickups Ram has ever unleashed.
There’s also a very different kind of Ram on the horizon. The 2027 Ram 1500 REV brings electrification into the lineup with dual electric drive modules, a 92-kWh battery and an anticipated total driving range exceeding 1,000 kilometres, according to Ram’s current estimates.
Whether you want traditional V8 sound, Hurricane turbocharged performance, extreme TRX capability or electrified technology, the 2027 lineup is shaping up to offer something for nearly every kind of truck buyer.
