At the recent Canadian International AutoShow in Toronto, Ram introduced the all-new 2019 Ram 1500 Laramie Longhorn Edition, the company's premium pickup that combines the luxury of an interior fitted with authentic wood, leather and steel trim combined with traditional Ram values of strength, durability, technology, and efficiency.
The Ram Laramie Longhorn is the world's benchmark for upscale pickup trucks, earning the title Luxury Pickup Truck of Texas from the Texas Auto Writers Association (TAWA) two years in a row, while the Ram 1500 line was just awarded Best Pickup Truck by the Canadian by the Automotive Journalists Association of Canada.
The 2019 Ram 1500 Laramie Longhorn Creates a Unique Presence Wherever You Drive
You can easily spot a 2019 Ram 1500 Laramie Longhorn Edition by its standard monotone or two-tone with lower Walnut Brown trim, premium LED headlamps and tail lamps, and unique wheels and grille that clearly sets it apart from other Ram truck models.
Inside is a hand-wrapped, full-grain leather dashboard along with southwestern-style door-panel and armrest coverings. New embossed alligator skin pattern leather covers the centre console, instrument panel, seats and door panel inserts. Other unique details a brushed-nickel metal badge on the console lid and a new "Longhorn" branding mark burned into directly into the upper glove box door wood trim.
No vinyl covering here; real barn-wood accents are installed throughout the cabin. The centre console storage area is enclosed by tandem barn-wood doors. Longhorn interior colours include Mountain Brown/Light Mountain Brown and Black/Cattle Tan leather seats with contrasting piping. Heated, leather rear seats and a unique rear seat ventilation system are optional on the Laramie Longhorn.
Between the premium LED lamps with Adaptive Front-lighting System is a chrome billet grille with a bold RAM in the center. Chrome front and rear bumpers, side steps, and front tow hook comes standard as do wheel flares. Newly-designed 20- or 22-inch wheels are offered with a variety of finishes to complement the exterior color you've selected.

Power comes from Canada's favorite engine (by sales), the 3.6-liter V6 Pentastar Upgrade eightspeed automatic transmission with eTorque. Optional is the 5.7 L HEMI V8 coupled to an eight-speed automatic transmission, available with or without eTorque. eTorque is a mild hybrid system that utilizes a unique alternator/electric motor that provides some extra oomph when accelerating from a stop, especially when heavily loaded or towing.
